    Less then meets the eye!
I just got a copy of the transformers animated video game and...
I'd like to say its an awesome game, as there has NEVER EVER EVER been an even remotely decent transformer game (mystery of convoy coming close to not sucking)

when you think of a transformer game what do you think of?
I know I know robots that transform right?" how about fighting off the evil hoards of megatron? yeah sounds great huh?
lots of action right? hand to hand combat and maybe even some shooting decpeticons right? that would be AWESOME!

ok so yeah...this game is to put it simply....is a kim possible game with the transformers brand slapped on it (the company that made it also made the 2 sub par kim possible games, (not the excellent gba ones)

the game consists of getting your three robots from point a to point b, each of the 3 robots has special abilities, bumblebee is pretty much jump and climb walls, bulkhead smashes walls and pushes heavy stuff (think tomb raider) and prime can um...climb.

it almost works for kim possible but it certainly doesn't cut it for transformers, very little combat and maze crawling is not what I can connect to transformers, I can't even say its clever or thought provoking puzzles...its just hit this switch, then jump here, now hit this blatently obvious switch.

if you can suffer through the first level, you are then able to race down a road as bike guy (prowl) and you have to poke your touch screen to hit a little flying thing while avoiding cars, SO AWESOME (better then the kim possible level I spose)

this game definatly feels like it was slapped together in about 20 minutes ,and i woudln't be surprised if they just used a game they were making for the kim possible franchise and just slapped a ferw robots on the cover.

I'd definatly say avoid this game unless you just have to have EVERY transformer thing ever made (again talking to the guy who owns mystery of convoy and the headmasters for fds)

)I actually posted this on the transformers forum and it got promptly "closed" cuz um..transfans are fags or something. so I felt i'd save it over here ;-)

    avoid!

quick note, I'm back from my convention (i'll do a convention report tomorow)

tonight at 7pm on g4tv they are going to have a special on botcon (I was interviewed at one point for it) so I might be on tv, however I lack tv access so if any of my couch potato friends would happen to have a vcr and the g4tv channel, i'd be much aprciated if they could possibly tape it for me.

the show is called "botcon attack of the show".

    Titaniums ~a review

I'm pretty bored with the last few years of animeformers, and slight remakes of megatron hotshot prime and starscream every year. I must say I was rather impressed with the new titaniums line.
yes its re-invsioning of classic charecters yet again, but somehow they got it right. It may have something to do with the fact theres no cruddy cartoon that they need to be based on. The first wave of the figures was a little lackluster, megatron was a floppy worthless piece of crap> Megs was based on the transformation of target master quake, whereas I liked quake a great deal...he certianly isn't worth 15$ without his targetmasters and with horribly limp joints that feel like the toy was 10 years old already. the Prime from wave one was based on a rather crappy comic rendition of Optimus prime, a much better toy by far ,rather simple transformation but sturdy and decent (it helps that he comes with a big ass gun always a bonus) AFter buying megs and being disgusted with the line I coudln't help but buy wave 2 which consists of the two pictured above, ThunderCracker and Jetfire (mot skyfire but jetfire)

with wave 2 they fixed the loose floopy joint issue and made very solid toys. both have fairly simple transformation. My one complaint with thundercracker is he has rubbery fists and no weapon holes in either. Cracker is based on the "seeker" style jet from the early cartoon (before you fan boys come crying, he's actualy called a seeker on the package so bite me)he has great arm and leg atriculation and I can't recomend him highly enough.

Jetfire admitely isn't quite as well made as cracker, much less his g1 namesake, however its the best jetfire we've gotten since the g1 version and will be the best till the super awesome classic's version comes out. he has remvoable weapons a gundamish shield and a removable backpack/jumpjet. his posability is a little hampered when his jetpack is on but overall he's almost as well made as cracker., they both look exceptionaly cool and very much worth the 15$ each I paid for em. the next wave is looking pretty decent as well, g1 scourge and bw season 3 optimal optimus (MONKEY!) overall I give them both an 8/10

    Attention Target shoppers!
I need a big favor to anyone who works at (or can get to) Target.

just today they clearnaced out a certain line of star wars figures that I've wanted for awile from 12.99 down to 3$

I was only able to get two of the differnt figures

    they look like this:

the ones i'm looking for are:

    biker scout

    tuskunraider/ sand people

    luke skywalker xwing pilot.

I'm not sure if any of the stores would still have them as clearnace goes fast sometimes, but if anyone could find them for me (at the clearance price) you'd be my new best friend. i'd be interested in more then one of each preferable 2 of each , and as many "biker scouts" as possible

the item number for them is

    dcpi: 087-06-1511

funniest thing i've read in quite awile
"Remember how 50 Cent had his own flavour of vitamin water? (I "reviewed" it a little while ago) Well, the Vitamin Water company has offered Kelly Clarkson her own flavour of the l'eau-y beverage - ON THE CONDITION that she loses some poundage. And it's not like they're kidding. Well, you know, if this is true and stuff. Overheard in a meeting with the Vitamin Water jerks: Kelly - "Screw this. I'm endorsing gummi bears." "
